Compact design
A new dynamo model is on the way: You would hardly expect a dynamo in SON 29 S, sleek and narrow as it is. The optimised design of the generator means that nominal data 6 Volt/ 3 Watt are reached at comparartively low speed. This way it complies with German StVZO legal regulations, even for 29“ wheels. Together with smart charging electronics it enables especially high power output.

Straight-pull
A spoke pattern with straight pull spokes achieves the ideal balance between stiffness/load capacity and weight. There is tangential lace pattern on the rotor mount side and radial lace pattern on the side where the connections are. Available is a version with equal spoke counts (16:16) as well as a version with unequal spoke counts (16:8).
Integrated Coax-Socket
The standard version comes with Integrated SON Coaxial Jack Socket for a SON Coaxial Connector. The SON Coaxial Adapter allows an easy and solid connection to SON hub dynamos. With SON Coaxial Connector you can plug and unplug the headlight cable easily when taking out the front wheel. SL Self-Connecting models are also possible.
